The Festa del Quadre with a renewed image, but still with memories of the past

The origin of The Festa Major del Quadre de Santa Rosalia dates back to a time long ago when a plague infested the village causing havoc among the population. A mysterious pilgrim revealed the solution: to walk the image of Santa Rosalia through the streets of the town. Having done this,  the plague disappeared, and the saint became the patron saint of Torredembarra. This captivating story was captured graphically and conceptually on the totally crafted aesthetics of the oldest painted tiles in the town.
