An illustrated historical journey through the Port of Tarragona
Combining nearly 300 pages and over 400 minutely detailed illustrations, this concise volume traces the story from the early Iberians to present day, via the Romans, the Middle Ages and through the industrial revolution. A luxury edition at all levels containing a comprehensive view of the history of the Port of Tarragona and, by extension, of the city, and how it has experienced moments of splendor and decay. The book was an original proposal by historian and illustrator Joan Carles Blanch who worked for almost 3 years on its development and whom we have collaborated with publishing other historical projects.
We were tasked with conceptualizing the visual discourse, design, unity and giving form and consistency to a publication that has become a testimonial to the Port and that will delight both young and old.
