Torredembarra trade promotion
Now more than ever, support local trade!
When we were still locked up at home in 2020, the need to promote and reinvigorate tourism and local trade became even more pressing. We established a communication strategy based on the findings of the study, and the campaign Rediscover Torredembarra was born in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and Industry, Commerce, and Activities of Torredembarra. One of the most significant actions was the creation of the Commercial Guide and portal, which has been developed and promoted through campaigns with a series of activities, first to activate and then to maintain web traffic while promoting local and proximity commerce.
The 3 most outstanding actions:
- To promote the registration on the website of Torredembarra’s businesses, we created a campaign in which, if their businesses were registered, they won 30€.
- And how was their 30€ redeemed? Through the “Gift Voucher” contest, in which ‘Torrencs’ or locals made purchases at participating establishments to win a €30 gift voucher. These two initiatives attempted to raise awareness of the new website and create a virtuous circle between businesses and customers.
- “Scratch and win”. Following the theme of the other two ideas, in this case, the action consisted of shoppers receiving a scratch card with the possibility of winning promotional gifts or vouchers to spend in local commerce.
